Was beim IWF alles geht

In Griechenland kennt IWF-Chefin Lagarde keine Gnade.

Zitat:

Pressure is mounting on creditors to reach a deal after the IMF signalled last week that it was ready to release the next tranche of its bailout even if Kiev suspended debt servicing, under its so-called lending into arrears policy.

Christine Lagarde, IMF managing director, reiterated that suggestion on Friday, welcoming Ukraine’s “continued efforts to reach a collaborative agreement with all creditors.

“This is important since this means that the fund will be able to continue to support Ukraine through its lending into arrears policy even in the event that a negotiated agreement with creditors in line with the programme cannot be reached in a timely manner,” she added.
